Amy's Bridal Shower

Amy's beautiful wedding dress that she designed and sewed herself!!! The bottom layer of lace comes off and she made a slip with brown tole to show underneath it to go along with her colors!!! It was a really fun way to showcase her dress!!! Especially since its her body double! Making lingerie cookies!!!

Alpine Loop

About a month ago, Brett and I took a drive through the Alpine Loop before Church on Sunday! We didn't want to miss all the fall colors, and a storm was rolling in for the following day!

It was beautiful!!! So many different landscapes in just one drive! Fall leaves and grassland...

To snow on mountain tops...

To Red Rock!

More Fall Pic's

It was just amazing colors everywhere!!!

It's FALL!!!

These pictures are just for you Mom!!!I remember not too long ago wondering why my Mom loved Fall more than any other season...to me, it just meant the snow and bare dead looking trees were right around the corner....But this fall has been beautiful!

Brett and I took a walk and enjoyed the brisk Autumn evening.

Bridal Veil Falls

I told Brett how my Mom used to always go on drives with my brother and I through Provo Canyon and up to Bridal Veil falls, so one day, he took me here. The State widened the road since I was a kid, but they kept a small stretch of the original road. There is also a walking/biking/long boarding path that was pretty full of people soaking up one of the last nice late summer weekends.
Some views of Provo Canyon.

In the park

These pictures were taken in a fun little park in Salt Lake. It used to be land a couple owned and when the Husband passed away, the Wife donated the land to be used as a park. It dips down from the street so it becomes a secluded little oasis away from the city.

Quaking Aspen

Another beautiful drive through the AF canyons!! I love the mountains so much!! I never knew how beautiful Utah really was! We had driven through this canyon on our 2nd date and ended up driving (slowly) behind a skinny gangly "teenage" moose! It was plopping around on the road and ended up going down the canyon quit a ways and ran right by a runner and his dog! The dog put his tail between his legs and ran into his owner and the owner crouched down into a ball to be in a less of a defensive posture as the moose ran inches next to him!!
Messing around!

I love taking drives through the canyon and getting out to hop around in the forest!

Random dates

We took a drive through Immigration canyon, to Morgan, over to Mt. Green, towards Huntsville and down through the Ogden canyon. Right around Pineview Reservoir we stopped and had a picnic. Don't let this picture fool you, the "grass" was not comfy! But Brett humored me and sat in the thorns for a picture! We ended up going through Riverdale Rd and stopping to get ice cream...where I discovered that Brett likes to steal chocolate! I am now on my guard!

We came across this pleasant looking creature on a drive up to Snow Basin ski resort. Brett, being...Brett...got out to "play" with it so it would get up for a better picture. I, of course, yelled at him to get back into the car!

This was an awesome date! We joined up with Brett's brother Dave, and 2 of his friends for a laid back time. In the summertime, Park City has bands play and you can come and listen for free. It was warm down in the valley, but freezing up in the mountains! But it was perfect blanket snuggle weather! The band was awesome and the company great! We got to ride the gondola on the way up and down as well!
